The Company was founded in 1987 when Frank S. O’Connor and Joseph E. Taylor, III each started individual construction companies. In 1989 they merged their companies to form the foundation of the O’Connor & Taylor Family of Companies. This started with a Construction Management and General Contracting firm that specialized in commercial construction projects for the public and private sector. O’Connor & Taylor has been a leading provider of construction solutions by building on our strong foundation of diversification, integrity and commitment to our associates, clients and community.

The Company has grown exponentially over the years. Through diversification the Company now has divisions that focus on Real Estate Development, Construction and Finance.

O’Connor & Taylor Enterprises, Inc. was formed as the parent company for all of the corporate entities. O’Connor & Taylor Management Corp. supervises and controls the business activities of the subsidiaries with responsibility for providing management personnel, as well as, accounting and payroll services.

The O’Connor & Taylor Construction Group holds the construction divisions of the company.

Southern Construction Systems SCS, Inc. – specializes in Commercial Construction Projects and Award Winning Design Build Pre-Engineered Steel Contractor. SCS is a preferred distributor for the Butler Manufacturing Company

Trade Pro Construction Services, Inc. – Structural Concrete Shell & Forming Contractor
